What is DNS and MITM attack?

DNS (Domain Name System) is a system of domain names that translates human-readable website addresses (e.g., example.com) into IP addresses that computers understand. It's like the internet's phone book.

MITM attack (Man-In-The-Middle) is a type of cyberattack where an attacker intercepts and possibly alters communication between two parties without their knowledge. For example, in a MITM attack on DNS, the attacker can replace the website's IP address to redirect the user to a fake resource.
