Who is responsible for task decomposition?

Decomposition of tasks is usually handled by team leads, architects, or experienced developers within the team. They break down large tasks or requirements into smaller, understandable, and manageable subtasks to simplify planning and implementation. In some teams, this may also be done by the product manager together with the technical lead, especially during the planning stage.
