Do you understand why we still haven't switched to IPv6?

The transition to IPv6 is slow for several reasons:

• Compatibility and infrastructure. Most existing networks and equipment are initially designed for IPv4. Upgrading takes time and costs.
• Lack of urgent necessity. Many organizations use NAT (Network Address Translation), which allows saving IPv4 addresses and delaying the transition.
• Implementation complexity. IPv6 requires changes in software, network configurations, and staff training.
• Economic factors. For some providers and companies, the costs of migration outweigh the current benefits.

As a result, despite the advantages of IPv6 (more addresses, improved routing, and security), the transition occurs gradually, as equipment is upgraded and networks expand.
