What build tools were used? What are the pros and cons of Webpack and Vite?

Webpack and Vite are popular frontend build tools, but with different approaches.

Webpack

• A powerful and flexible bundler with a vast ecosystem of plugins and loaders.
• Supports complex configurations, suitable for large projects.
• Cons: slow initial build and restart during development.

Vite

• A modern tool using native ES module import in the browser.
• Very fast startup and module hot reloading (HMR).

• Cons: less mature, fewer plugins compared to Webpack.

If speed of development and a modern stack are important — Vite is preferable. For complex projects with custom requirements and many plugins — Webpack remains a reliable choice.
