If a close person approached you and asked how to become a front-end developer, what would you tell them to discourage them?

If a close person asked how to become a front-end developer, and I wanted to dissuade them, I would talk about some of the challenges and features of the profession:

• Continuous learning: front-end changes rapidly, new frameworks, standards, and tools appear. You need to be prepared to learn constantly.
• High competition: many applicants, so you need a lot of practice and projects to stand out.
• Attention to detail: layout and UI require accuracy and understanding of UX.
• Working with bugs and cross-browser compatibility: often you have to solve problems related to different browser support.
• Sometimes monotonous work: fixing small bugs, adapting to different devices.

If a person is not ready for constant development and patience, it might be worth considering another field.
