To progress to a confident senior level in frontend development, it is usually not enough to have experience in architectural design of applications and deep expertise in performance optimization. It is important to develop skills in systems thinking, the ability to make technical decisions considering long-term consequences, as well as experience in mentoring and conducting code reviews. Additionally, it is useful to deepen knowledge of modern development patterns and master best practices in testing and CI/CD.
