What did you use to store configuration data in YAML format in your last project?

Specialized tools and libraries are often used for storing configuration data in YAML format, which facilitate easy reading and processing of such files.

In my latest project, the following were used:

• In Python environment — the PyYAML library, which allows loading YAML files into dictionaries and vice versa.
• In DevOps environment — tools like Ansible or Kubernetes, which natively use YAML for describing configurations.

Example of using PyYAML:
