How did you come to the role of DevOps engineer?

The path to becoming a DevOps engineer often starts with experience in development or system administration. For example, one might initially work as a developer, gaining an understanding of the application lifecycle, and then gradually learn about process automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud technologies. Practical experience with tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet) is also important. Over time, this can lead to a role that combines development and operations skills — a DevOps engineer.
