What is SaaS?

SaaS (Software as a Service) is a software distribution model where the provider develops, operates, and manages a cloud application, and users access it via the internet.

Key characteristics of SaaS:

• Centralized management: The provider is responsible for updates, maintenance, and security of the application.
• Subscription-based payment: Payment is usually made regularly (monthly/yearly) rather than a one-time license purchase.
