Who is responsible for evaluating the completed task?

The assessment of a completed task is usually carried out by several roles depending on the development process:

• Team Lead or technical manager — checks the quality of the code, compliance with requirements, and technical aspects.
• QA Engineer — verifies functionality, tests the task for compliance with requirements and absence of bugs.
• Product Owner — evaluates how well the task meets business requirements and product goals.
• The executor (developer) — can perform self-checks and code reviews.

In Agile teams, joint assessment is often used, where several team members participate in reviewing and testing the task before its closure.
