Did you start working on the project independently or join an existing solution at your previous job?

In my practice, I have done both. Sometimes I started projects from scratch, which allowed me to fully control the architecture and code structure. In other cases, I joined existing solutions, where I needed to understand someone else's code, grasp the logic, and continue the project's development.

For example, when working with an existing project, it's important to quickly familiarize oneself with the codebase, understand the patterns and standards used, and also integrate new features without disrupting the current logic. When developing independently, you can immediately lay down the necessary architectural decisions and standards, but this requires more time for planning.
