We are looking for an experienced Platform / DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and runtime reliability in a cloud-native environment. The role focuses on secure, scalable, observable, and production-ready platform operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, operate, and optimize Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters supporting Spring Boot–based microservices
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of Kubernetes workloads
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows
- Automate deployment processes to support rolling updates, blue/green deployments, and zero-downtime releases
- Implement and manage secrets using GCP Secret Manager
- Enforce best practices for GCP IAM, network security, and access controls
- Configure Cloud Monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue detection
- Implement structured logging and dashboards to improve system visibility and troubleshooting
- Support autoscaling strategies and performance tuning
- Partner with engineering teams on performance testing, load testing, and capacity planning
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems
- Continuously improve system reliability and operational processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles
- Strong expertise in GKE / Kubernetes
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and deployment strategies
- Solid understanding of GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Helm charts and environment-based templating
- Exposure to distributed tracing and observability tools
- Experience supporting high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms
