The company is looking for its first Data Engineer to build data infrastructure, production pipelines, and data marts from scratch. The role will shape the company’s data architecture and support how the business uses data.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain production data pipelines and data marts from the current state
- Organize and structure data in existing databases
- Clean, transform and prepare data to support analysts and reporting
- Ensure data quality and compliance with GDPR and UK Data Protection
- Automate routine tasks and support basic DataOps workflows
- Collaborate with the Data Team to establish processes and standards
Who we’re looking for
- Experience with production data pipelines and GCP, including BigQuery or equivalent
- Knowledge of databases, data workflows, and pipeline orchestration
- Ability to work independently
- English fluency
- Bonus points for experience with AWS or Azure, distributed systems, message queues, and CI/CD for data pipelines
