Для доступа использовал директивы allow и deny:

Редиректы настраивал с помощью return:

Условия использовал с if:

Авторизацию реализовывал через auth_basic и auth_basic_user_file:

Также активно использовал директивы location для определения, как обрабатывать запросы к различным URL:
