What you’ll do
- Build backend services with Node.js or Go
- Design APIs with GraphQL and REST
- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Own integrations and transactional flows
- Improve performance and reliability
- Use AI in daily development
Key requirements
The company is looking for an engineer who solves problems rather than just writes code.
- Strong independence: make decisions, work without detailed specifications and feel comfortable with ambiguity
- A troubleshooting mindset: debug complex systems and fix issues end-to-end
- Broad engineering mindset with awareness of product, testing and DevOps
- AI-first approach: daily use of Copilot, Claude or Cursor with real integration into the workflow
- Senior-level experience with architecture, ownership and responsibility
Conditions
- Location: Barcelona or Lisbon
- Hybrid format: 3 days in a coworking space
- Full-time or contractor format
- Contractor agreement
- Salary: $4000–6500, open to discussion
