The company is hiring a Senior Backend Developer / Tech Lead to own backend architecture across two large-scale fintech platforms supporting a crypto wallet, on/off-ramp, and crypto cards. The role combines distributed systems design, blockchain and payment integrations, performance optimization, and development of AI-powered internal tools.
What you'll do
- Own backend architecture across two large-scale platforms with 30+ and 25+ microservices, including system design, API contracts, data flow, and inter-service communication.
- Lead integrations with payment providers, card issuers, and blockchain networks, including retries, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation in production.
- Profile slow services, design caching strategies, optimize queries, and plan for scale.
- Shape technical direction and make architectural decisions.
- Build and extend AI-powered internal tools and automations across the development cycle.
