The team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and optimize an automated CI/CD and Kubernetes-based delivery ecosystem. The role focuses on developer enablement, release reliability, observability, and company-wide DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect robust GitLab CI/CD workflows for multi-stage builds, tests, and deployments
- Define containerization standards and manage Docker image lifecycle for multiple services
- Lead the design and operations of Kubernetes clusters, including networking, ingress, storage, and scaling
- Build standardized and immutable OS environments using Talos
- Maintain and extend Prometheus- and Grafana-based observability systems
- Drive automation across the entire SDLC and eliminate manual processes
- Improve developer productivity with tooling, templates, pipelines, and automation
- Contribute to reliability engineering efforts, SLOs, performance monitoring, and failure analysis
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure automation
- Deep expertise with GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience with immutable infrastructure tools such as Talos
- Strong scripting abilities in Bash and at least one other language; Python or Go preferred
- Solid understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, and operational metrics
Work Conditions
- Full-time employment
- Remote work from outside Azerbaijan or office work in Baku
- Location: Baku
- Compensation: 3000 EUR–5000 EUR gross
- Candidates from the Russian Federation, Belarus, and Armenia are not hired
