The product is a live app with real users on one codebase. YALPIZ LABS is a growing AI health company.
Responsibilities
- Own the React Native and Expo app end to end: ship it, monitor it, and fix issues
- Drive down crash rate and ANRs; be accountable for the crash-free sessions metric
- Improve startup time, reduce jank and slow screens, and fix broken flows
- Build and maintain the web surface with React
- Work with Supabase, including Postgres, auth, edge functions, and RLS
- Own releases to the App Store and Google Play
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of commercial engineering experience
- At least two apps built by you that are currently live on the App Store or Google Play; provide the links
- Production experience with React Native and Expo, including knowledge of native pitfalls
- Experience with React for web
- Experience with Supabase or an equivalent Postgres backend; understanding of RLS, migrations, and auth
Huge bonus
- Python and Django
- Native modules with Swift or Kotlin for cases where Expo is not enough
- Mobile CI/CD with EAS or Fastlane
