ALARM.COM is hiring a Senior Security Engineer in Tysons, Virginia. The role focuses on enterprise security posture, audits and penetration testing, cloud threat modeling, secure software development practices, incident response, and security compliance.
Responsibilities
- Determine, monitor and maintain the security posture in collaboration with Engineering.
- Perform security audits, application and infrastructure penetration tests, physical security reviews and social engineering tests for global clients.
- Select, acquire, deploy, integrate and configure security solutions and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain threat models for cloud environments and train engineering teams in attacker- and risk-driven design.
- Provide security expertise on SDLC practices for software and firmware development, including secure design, development, testing and runtime security.
- Partner with infrastructure, application and other stakeholders to minimize security and privacy risks.
- Maintain knowledge of security solutions, processes, attacks, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain the Incident Response Program.
- Recommend actions to support security and regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
- Respond to client and partner security questionnaires.
