The Senior Design Engineer will support the design and engineering of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects. Responsibilities include CAD layouts, energy production modeling, electrical design deliverables, performance analysis, and grid interconnection support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for commercial and utility-scale solar PV layouts.
- Collect and analyze project inputs for screening studies and preliminary design reports.
- Perform solar production modeling, shading analysis, and loss factor calculations.
- Support electrical design deliverables including single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, circuit design, and substation component layouts.
- Assist with the utility grid-interconnection process.
- Analyze performance data using Excel and Python, including KPI monitoring and reporting.
- Prepare NEC-compliant drawings such as single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams.
- Ensure design packages meet contractual, code, permitting, and client requirements.
- Coordinate design requirements with civil, structural, and electrical teams.
Working Conditions
- Location: Pune.
- Work from office.
- Working hours are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with required overlap with the US time zone.
- No travel is required.
- CTC: Rs 10 LPA.
- There are no registration or employment charges for candidates.
