Gauntlet is hiring a Quant Developer to design, implement, simulate, deploy, and operate vault strategies for institutional clients across the onchain stack. The role is remote for candidates who can work within the contiguous United States and Canada.

Responsibilities
- Design and ship vault strategies end-to-end, including research, implementation, simulation, deployment, and live operation
- Optimize signals, execution, gas-aware rebalancing, liquidity, and duration management
- Conduct protocol and asset due diligence, including solvency mechanics, oracles, redemption paths, and liquidity depth
- Own risk parameters such as supply caps, LLTV, concentration limits, VaR-based exposure, and automated de-risking logic
- Integrate new protocols and chains and validate behavior against forked-chain simulations
- Monitor and operate live strategies, extend risk monitoring, define alerts, and participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred experience and technology
Preferred experience includes DeFi lending protocols, ERC-4626 vaults, AMMs, oracle systems, Solidity, EVM, forked-chain simulation with Anvil, non-EVM systems, on-chain operations, TypeScript, modern data stacks, and risk modeling for volatile or thinly traded assets.
