The company is looking for an experienced Golang Software Engineer to develop and optimize the core of a high-throughput proxy platform. The role focuses on connection management, routing, performance, observability, and production reliability in a fully remote engineering team.
What You’ll Work On
- Develop and improve core proxy services for traffic handling, routing, and session lifecycle.
- Design and implement high-performance network components using Go.
- Work on concurrency models, resource scheduling, and flow control.
- Profile, debug, and optimize latency, throughput, memory usage, garbage collection pauses, and lock contention.
- Develop monitoring and observability pipelines with high-cardinality metrics.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical decisions.
- Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and maintain engineering quality.
- Work with infrastructure, data, and backend teams to ensure stable production operation.

- Experience with high-load systems or connection pools.
- Knowledge of HTTP/2, QUIC, or custom multiplexing layers.
- Kafka or another distributed queue.
- Experience with TLS termination and handshake optimization.
- Experience tuning sysctl for high connection concurrency.
- Experience optimizing concurrency models, resource scheduling, and flow control.
- Experience designing observability pipelines with high-cardinality metrics.
- Experience implementing retries, failover, connection recovery, and load balancing.
- Ability to lead deep-dive investigations into complex performance or reliability issues independently.
