Bright Data is looking for an experienced Backend JavaScript Developer to join its Network team. The role focuses on high-scale backend services powering the company’s networking infrastructure, with an emphasis on networking, security, performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
Own features and services end to end, from design and implementation through production rollout and ongoing improvements.
Build and maintain high-scale backend services with a strong focus on performance, reliability and security.
Participate in system design and architecture planning.
Solve networking-related challenges involving traffic flows, proxy behavior, request and response handling and protocol-level edge cases.
Investigate and troubleshoot complex networking issues using Wireshark and similar tools.
Write maintainable code with appropriate test coverage and participate in code reviews.
Work Format and Compensation
The position can be based in an office in Israel or Cyprus, or remotely except from Russia and Belarus.
Full-time employment with a flexible schedule.
Remote employees are offered USD 40–50 per hour.
Nice to Have
Experience with AWS and SaaS environments.
Experience debugging production networking issues such as latency, packet loss, connection reuse and TLS handshakes.
Experience with observability tooling and incident response or on-call work.
