The company is looking for a Data Platform Lead to own the end-to-end data infrastructure supporting a new mobile game intended to reach hundreds of millions of users and process billions of events daily. The role combines hands-on platform development, architecture, team growth, and operational leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture of the data platform.
- Make, document, and defend key technology decisions while balancing scalability, cost, and team capacity.
- Partner with game, analytics, and marketing leadership to turn business needs into a platform roadmap with clear priorities and SLAs.
- Build core parts of the platform hands-on.
- Hire, mentor, and grow the data engineering team.
- Establish engineering practices, review culture, and operational discipline.
