The Chief Transformation Officer is an executive leader responsible for shaping and delivering the Bank’s enterprise transformation strategy. The role oversees Technology, Software Engineering, Transformation Delivery, and Strategic Project Management, connecting strategic priorities with digital development, operational efficiency, and organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the Bank’s enterprise transformation strategy in line with long-term business priorities.
- Lead organization-wide transformation initiatives spanning technology, operations, digital banking, customer experience, and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive the strategic evolution of the Bank’s operating model, business capabilities, and technology environment.
- Advise the Executive Leadership Team on transformation priorities, emerging technologies, market developments, and innovation opportunities.
- Build a culture of innovation, agility, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks for the Bank’s transformation portfolio.
- Evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives based on business value, customer impact, risk exposure, and organizational capacity.
- Coordinate transformation programs, projects, and technology initiatives.
- Track transformation performance, benefits realization, and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Provide strategic direction across Technology, Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Delivery, and Technology Operations.
- Lead the modernization of platforms, applications, infrastructure, and engineering capabilities.
- Accelerate the adoption of cloud, APIs, automation, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions.
- Ensure technology investments deliver clear and measurable business impact.
Role Context
The CTRO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and works closely with Executive Management and business leaders to convert strategic priorities into coordinated transformation programs.
