Soter Labs is hiring an Engineer to design and implement monitoring for smart contracts across the Sky ecosystem, including L2 deployments. The role involves operating high-value vaults, executing governance-driven parameter changes, and working with risk teams on response processes.

Soter Labs runs end-to-end governance and risk operations for the Sky ecosystem, a decentralized capital allocation system in DeFi. The team works with Sky Core and ecosystem partners as a small senior team with high autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Research and propose an approach for monitoring all smart contract types across the ecosystem, including L2 deployments
- Implement the monitoring framework and collaborate with risk teams to define response processes
- Manage the deployment and monitoring of vaults holding hundreds of millions of dollars
- Execute parameter changes driven by governance requests
- Take on further projects based on ecosystem needs and your competencies
Nice to have
- Experience with smart contract risk analysis in high-stakes environments
- Experience with L2 infrastructure such as OP Stack and Arbitrum
- Experience with bridge and messaging security
Stack and compensation
The stack includes Solidity, Foundry, Hardhat, TypeScript, Tenderly, and multisig-based operations with Safe.
Base compensation is $120,000–$200,000 per year. Bonuses are paid in cash or SKY tokens.
