Bright Data is looking for an experienced Backend JavaScript Developer to join the Network team. The role focuses on high-scale backend services that power the company’s networking infrastructure, including network traffic, protocols, performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Develop features end to end, from design and implementation to production rollout and ongoing improvements.
- Build and maintain high-scale backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in system design and architecture planning.
- Solve networking challenges involving traffic flows, proxy behavior, request and response handling, and protocol edge cases.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex networking issues using Wireshark and similar tools.
- Write maintainable code with appropriate test coverage and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Apply backend engineering and networking best practices.
Work Format and Compensation
- Office work is available in Israel or Cyprus.
- Remote work is available except from Russia and Belarus.
- Full-time employment with a flexible schedule.
- Remote employees are offered 40–50 USD per hour.
