Awin is hiring a Senior Data Security Engineer to build and operationalise its data security capability. The role focuses on data classification, DLP, data security posture management, AI data governance, and collaboration with security architecture and data governance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Awin's data security framework in partnership with the Security Architect.
- Build and operationalise the data classification taxonomy, sensitivity tiers, and data handling standards.
- Support the implementation of the data classification programme, including labelling policies and classification coverage across data environments.
- Own the implementation, tuning, and audit-ready management of DLP policies across endpoint, network, and cloud channels.
- Operationalise data security posture management tooling to provide visibility and control over sensitive data flows to AI tools and third-party services.
- Act as the data security domain expert for the Security Architecture function and contribute to architecture reviews, product designs, and technology assessments.
- Work with stakeholders to understand sensitive data flows and integrate data security requirements with the broader data governance framework.
