Ethena Labs is building a new engineering team for a money-movement product based on its stablecoin infrastructure. This hands-on player-coach role combines production coding, architecture ownership, team hiring, delivery practices, and operational reliability.
Responsibilities
- Write and ship production code as a top individual contributor, taking on the most critical work.
- Own system architecture across services, money paths, data models, infrastructure, and on-chain settlement.
- Build and hire a small senior engineering team and lead onboarding.
- Set and enforce engineering standards for code review, CI, testing, idempotency, and correctness.
- Drive a high-velocity delivery cadence with versioned releases and short lead time from idea to production.
- Drive production reliability through alerting, on-call rotation, tested runbooks, and incident response.
