Responsibilities
- Grow the team from 45 to more than 100 engineers
- Hire, coach, and develop the engineering management layer
- Structure the organization and architect the platform for hypergrowth
- Establish a predictable software development lifecycle
- Partner closely with Product Management to prioritize impactful business outcomes
- Set quality standards and service-level agreements
- Scale production capacity so it does not bottleneck growth
- Own FinOps and vendor management
- Refine career ladders and the hiring process
Conditions
- Salary: 4000–8000 USD gross
- Full-time remote work

Additional experience valued
- Scaling an engineering organization from approximately 40 to 150 people as a VP of Engineering or CTO
- Background in AI/ML, voice, or real-time systems
- Building high-scale software in a public cloud
- Zero-to-one organization building and rapid decision-making
