The role focuses on building and maintaining reliable Python backend services that interact with EVM-based blockchains and trading infrastructure in production. The position is aimed at a hands-on mid-level to senior engineer working with blockchain data, transactions, and trading-related systems rather than pure smart contract or protocol development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python backend services that interact with EVM blockchains, including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and other L2s
- Integrate backend systems with the Hyperliquid perpetual trading platform
- Work with blockchain interaction layers, including RPC calls, event listeners, transaction creation, and transaction submission
